*
* * * Should I rotate my tyres from front to rear axle?
* * * *
* * *

We get asked that question time and time again. Some of big tyre manufacturers agree that it not good practice to rotate your tyres from front to rear anymore to prolong tyre life.

Misalignment and part worn tyres on the front axle rotating them to rear can cause problems on wet conditions plus likely experience cut's in sidewalls and punctures. Some cars now have two different sizes on the front and the rear, also directional tyres on the front axle along with asymmetric on the rear axle.

*
* * * Should I purchase part worn tyres for my vehicle?
* * * *
* * *

Some customers think there getting good bargain when they buy a part worn tyre. In a nutshell..ask your self do you know what your buying? Partworn means buying someone else old item.

Do you know were tyre came from? Has it had any safety checks done like checking for cuts, any sign that its being drove on, has it had any punctures, what tread life is left on part-worn tyre?

At Blueline Tyres we do not sell part-worn tyres at all. The reason - we are always thinking of our customers safety and were not trying make a quick pound or two.

*
* * * What happens if I have alloy wheels on and can't find my locking wheel nut key?
* * * *
* * *

Most locking wheel nuts can be found either under boot well or in the glovebox when mobile-fitter comes out to your home or work he will try to take the wheel off.

If for any reason he looks at it and thinks it will damage the alloy wheel he will ask the customer to go back to place where they bought their car to reorder a new locking nut and the customer can then rebook another appointment with Blueline Tyres.
